FAQ

Why There is Electricity on the Shell of Spot Welding Machine?

After operating on the IF DC spot welding machine for a long time, the problem may be because we did not do the inspection work during the long-term use. For example, the shell of the spot welding machine sometimes has electricity.

The power cord or welding cable connection point touches the machine casing, the welding cable insulation damage point touches the workpiece, there is no grounding protection (or zero protection) or the ground connection is wrongly connected to the live wire of the power supply.

Solution:

Carefully check the wiring, eliminate the phenomenon of the IF DC spot welder shell at the live part, check the welding cable, that is, the damaged part of the insulation tape, check the grounding wire to ensure that the grounding is reliable, the connection method is correct, and the grounding wire must be made before installing the equipment. In order to maintain the safety of the operation.

Clean the dust on the AC control board regularly. When cleaning the inside of the machine, be careful not to drop impurities into the PC, frequency converter and other electrical components, which may cause accidents. At the same time, check whether the leads are damaged and the plug connectors are loose.
